Hello,

How much would it be to add a new section and enhance the current design for PriceSmart's Legal Department Policies digital document/design with the following requirements:

Final size of all pages remains the same: 8.5" x 11"
Update Front cover, Table of Contents, enhance the design (to look a bit different), add additional pages with pics for new section (OFAC Policies & Third-Party Policies) - DOC files attached.

Each of the new pages (the current 17 pages + the new pages for OFAC & Third-Party Policies) need to be saved individually and vectorized or text active to make changes as needed to. As usual, will need the font types you use. Client might send new pics for old section, but for new section, you would need to be creative and add related high res picture to make it look like it's part of the same document.

Need this quote ASAP, and our deadline to submit final design/artwork is Monday.

IMPORTANT INFO: The design needs to see the same style, passive, neat and clean as the 2018 one.

    Hello, can you do the following at your earliest convenience: 

    • Create a cover sheet for the OFAC (insert between page 15 & 16). Please use the "ofac backgroun pic".jpg (see link) or similar for the background of new cover sheet (similar to page 2). Name of cover should be "Risk & Compliance Department Policies - OFAC & Third Party"

     

    • Change the manual's design, following the same style as the current design (passive, neat and clean). And send me both versions for the customer to compare and pick the best design.  

     

    • Please incorporate pictures sent by customer.  You may replace the old ones if applicable.

    Hello, 

    As per my text earlier today, the new "Risk & Compliance..." cover (currently labeled as Page 16) should be at Page 13 position (16th page of PDF document).  Before OFAC Policies section. 

    Also, add the legal symbol and Pricesmart logo to the "Risk & Compliance..." cover, similar to the other secion cover (2nd page of PDF document).

    Hi Subhasish,

    Thank you for the quick turnaround on this.  I only noticed one thing.  On page 17, please remove the first title, WHY IS THE TPP POLICY IMPORTANT? and leave only the one below it, WHY IS THE THIRD PARTY RISK MANAGEMENT IMPORTANT? and format in the same green bold text.

    We have the following changes to make to these digital brochures. 

    For the PriceSmart Legal Digital Document:  

    • Update/replace welcome letter (Currently PDF Page #3) - attached is the new text. 
    • Update Policy on Contracts Section 1 (Currently PDF Page #6) - attached is the new text. 
    • Eliminate PDF Page #7 (practical tips), #8 (Section 2 - Policy on the Use of Pre-approved Contract Formats) and #9 (Helpful Tips). 
    • Once you make these changes, the document's Sections #s and Page #s would need to be updated as well as the Content section, accordingly.  

     

    For the Risk & Compliance section ONLY Digital Document: 

    Please update the Section #s accordingly.

    By the way, customer said that they had issues with the Ls on the PDF documents.  Attached is a picture of a sample they sent us.  It seems like all the Ls are bolded.  Kind of weird.  Can you do something about this? Thanks?

    -  Change title of Legal section (currently PDF page #2) to: Legal Department Policies, guidelines and best practices when doing business with third parties

     

    -  Include the following bulletpoints/footnotes at end of "Policy on Contracts" section - on the blue section at bottom of page (currently PDF page #7) - see picture attached: 

    • All contracts must complied with PriceSmart’s expense approval hierarchical authorization and its associated expense approval matrix before its submission for review and approval of the Legal Department.For questions about the Expense approval matrix or Authorizations & Approval, procedures contact the Internal Controls and / or Accounting Teams*.
    • Please ensure all processes and guidelines outlined in the Third- Party Provider Due- Diligence Policy CORP_R&C_005 are followed before submitting a contract for review and approval. For any questions with this Policy, contact Risk and Compliance*
    • *These teams do not have ownership on this Policy

    Can you make the following changes to the last version you sent me. 

    For the PriceSmart Legal Digital Document ONLY:

    - Currently PDF Page #2:  Eliminate page 2 completely.  They will only keep 1 cover page (page 1).

    - Currently PDF Page #5 (Contents):  Change OFAC POLICIES to OFAC POLICY.  Change THIRD-PARTY VENDOR MANAGEMENT to THIRD-PARTY RISK MANAGEMENT

    - Currently PDF Page #14:  Change current title to RISK AND COMPLIANCE POLICIES - OFAC AND THIRD PARTY RISK MANAGEMENT

    - Currently PDF Page #15:  Change OFAC POLICIES TO OFAC POLICY.  Same for the footers on page 15 & 16. 

    - Currently PDF Page #17:  Title should be THIRD-PARTY RISK MANAGEMENT. Same change for the footers on page 17, 18 and 19. 

    - Currently PDF Page #18:  Eliminate first sentence, “Why is the TPP POLICY IMPORTANT?"  Change format of the sentence that reads "WHY IS THE THIRD PARTY RISK MANAGEMENT IMPORTANT?" to Bold Green (same as the other titles)

    - Currently PDF Page #19:  Change "An approval from R&C must be obtained before setting up the third-party in the Accounting or any other type of Company systems or databases." to "An approved background check is required before a TPP can be added to any Company system or database*" and change the font's color, from red to white. 

     

    For the Risk & Compliance section ONLY Digital Document: 

    Please make sure that all pages/sections numbers didn't change, and if they did please send me a new Risk & Compliance section seperately.

    Hi Subhasish,

     

    Our customer has requested additional changes to the English version their Legal and Risk & Compliance policy documents.  Please use the most recent version that you sent us when making the changes.  Changes are highlighted with corresponding sticky notes in the attached .pdf document.

     

    The most notable changes are the change to the text in the BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS in the blue box on page 15 (see attached document), and the removal of most of the text in the blue box on page 16 (as indicated in the .pdf document - hyperlink included in the attached document).

     

    The other change is the change of the term "Risk & Compliance Department" to Risk & Compliance" (also indicated in the .pdf document).  On page 3, please also remove the word "the" before this term.

     

    The other corretions are to spelling and punctionation and are highlighted in the .pdf document.

     

    Please make the changes in both of the English documents as applicable.  Changes to the Spanish version will follow soon; we are pending some translation work.

    Hi Subhasish,

     

    Can you please make the minor changes shown on the attached document.  I think there was a misunderstanding in the requests to add period marks.  In many instances the word period was also added.  We need to remove the word "period" and just keep the punctuation mark "."

    Most of the corrections are related to this.

    Can you please make the following modifications to the latest ENG version of the Legal Dept. document. 

     

    • On Page 6 on the PDF, the last 2 bullet points are missing a punctuation period at the end of the sentence.  (see pic "Page 6")
    • On Page 11 on the PDF, please fix the tittle of section on footnote.  (see pic "Page 11")
    • On Page 17 on the PDF, the bullet point C (under Definition) is missing a punctuation period at the end of the sentence.  (see pic "Page 17")
    • On Page 18 on the PDF, the last sentence is missing a punctuation period at the of the sentence.  (see pic "Page 18")
