Project Description :
We want to copy the design of this website, but use our own fonts and images of course. https://www.bellacentercopenhagen.dk/en-GB/Our-hotels.aspx

To differentiate the look somewhat we want to move the hamburger menu to the right side of the top menu, and put our horizontal logo in the top left corner. Site needs to work in Swedish & English.

The Top Blue box (magazine) and its functionality will not be included in our site.

The Menu items are as follows, with number 1 being represented on the site as top left image. Number 2 is the right of number 1, and number 5 is below number 1, and so on.

    For the sub-pages we wish to have very similar style, with small changes. 
    This is (B) - a large image across with 1 column of side tect under. instead of starting with text as Bella does, we sish to start with the image above as in the second attached screenshot.

    The A and C modules inside can be very similar to Belle, but since we do not have the Magazine in tye right id like to just extend the image somewhat to the right (make it a little larger) so that it just covers the second column text also. 

    Attached you will find the screenshot, just extend the image so that it covers the second column text and ailgns with it. 

    The thrird can look the same as this one, but with a video up top instread of an image. 

    It would be good to be able to have a pdf uploaded to any page, but it doesnt have to become such a large button as this screenshot.

    I like th ehome-page, except Id like to make the firld above the images a little smaller. we do mnot need 3 rows, and Id like to have a footer on the page (a dark very simple footer). Also, can we see the home page with the right fonts? The bold is not right, or is it? 

    Instead of making the text on the images apear from the bottom Id like them to be in same place and go from semi-transparent to fully visiable, but I guess that comes later.

    Regarding the sub-page, we need a couple of them. This first one is ok, except I want to be able top put another image firther down to break of the text, and then start the text again, much like in the oroginal site. 
    We also need one sub-pge with a larger image from side to site like the original site.

    I made some changes in the home-page. See screenshot. 

    Look at the FOOD & BEVERAGE image. Id like the text to be a little smaller and centered. It can be 50% transparent and on roll-over we make it become fully visable. 

    Please move the logo so it is aligned to the left - same distance to edge as the MENU on the right. 

    Thank you. 

    Regarding the sub-pages: 
    I want to be able to stack blocks one after another under eachother. Please check Bellacenter page to see how they stack blocks of images and text on all sub-pages.

    OK this is starting to look good.
    On the home-page I want to try this without having a filter on the images, just like Bellacenter - the images are bright and clear, no dark filter. 

    Also, please make the logo a little smallet (25%) and the text and the social links in the footer a little smaller as well (less prominent).
    That sub-page looks good - please send the other one also :)

    The logo and the text in the footer is still too big. Please make both the logo and the text in the footer smaller. 

    Please make the Menu and the SWE/ ENG sligtly smaller also. 

    Right now you have only 1 sub-page. I would also like to see the other design of sub-page number 2.

    I have sent it several times.  Just as in Bella center we need to have different looks on the sub-pages so that the site is not so static. 


    the first one is ok now, that you have made and sent. The second one need to be similar to the attached, and again it needs to be able to be stacked just like the first sub-page, with images and text in blocks. It also needs to be able to have a video at the top - instead of animage. 

    I like the attached look - I just want the main image to be slighly larger then this in the screenshot. It can be stretched to the right so that it aligns with the right text column.

    OK - we are pretty much good to go. The client has seen these and has some thoughts on small changes but in all we are very close. Here are their changes: 

    Home-page:
    1. Smaller logo - smaller text Menu and in footer as well as smaller social links. 
    2. Add some shadow to the text on the images so that it is more visable on lighter images. 
    3. Move text down so that the text is in the bottom part of the image, but centered. 50% visable headline and 0% visable sub-headline. On-roll-over both headlines become 100% visable. 
    4. In the Menu - make the green part a little smaller (move the black / green transition to ythe right, closer to SWE.


    Other request: They want to be able to attach a pdf to the second column on sub-page 2. 

    We are good to move ahead and start making this now. Thank you!

    Yes, lest move forward please. THe only thing we are not sure of is the placement and shading of the text omn th eimages, but that could also be something that can be set from the backend.

    Do you wish to talk at all about back-end design? 

    The stackable blocks in sub-pages are important, so is all the ability to upload different images at every instance - as well as a great word-processing format and the ability to switch it between Swe / Eng in a simlpe way. 

    The Nevermynd backend is simple, but this one will be a bnit more complicated, if we can built on it that would be nice.

    We should probably have a max-witdh on the site for extra large sreens? What do you think? 

    On the home-page images I am thinking a filter on roll-over, gradient style with a darker gradient at the bottom of image where the text is, and less dark at the top. This way we can make the text pop without a shading on it (I didnt like the shading). 

    Edit top text to (Or I can change it later from back-end if you wish.)

    1. Where we upload images to the home-page, id like to have a crop function so that you don't need to crop it before uploading. Also, the images need ot be able to be way bigger for good resolution + larger screens. We need to make the image as large as possible but just give the user the ability to crop it to the right hight/width-ratio. 

    2. We need a crop function for the images for sub-pages also. Think of a crop similar to a Linkedin-header. You upload an image and then you can drag the image to fit the window which is designed for the page. 

    3. When changing from a text-block to a video or heading we need a warning. Something that pops up and says: "Warning- you are changing a text-block to heading / image / video. If you continue you will loose the text that is written in this block."
    Same with changing from block with 1 text column to 2, or the other way. We could tranfer the text automaticaly in the first text block to the single text block and vice versa.

    4. Wrong font in header (country) and footer (adress)

    Its looking good guys. The images are the big one to make easy/smooth as a user to upload.

    Ans: Menu, Big images etc are full width and content section is 916px. Also site is responsive. So i am not sure what you want. Do you want any fixed size? Then tell me the size in pixel you want.

    The image upload is not working properly.
    -When uploading an image it needs to resize to fit. Or let the user do the fitting himself. Either way is fine but the way it is now is not working.
    Please call me if you need me to explain. A good image uploader is vital for all new webpages today and is something worth spending a little time on so that every webpage we make for clients can have a great image-uploader that is easy for users to manage.

    Also the edit-image is not working. Have a look at the screenshot. No pitcure a user will upload will look good at 200-300 pixels, its just way too small. 
    We need to utilize the max of the with or the hight of the image but crop it tio fit the ration for our needs.

    It seems like the whole row of images re-sizes if one image is too tall? This will all be fixed with a good image-uploader of course.

    For All Image cropping and resize option Please follow this.

    Please upload images within 4mb. (Max Size)
    Two resize option set here one for home page (width 340px) and other for sub page(width 1000px )

    1. home page (width 340px). That image stored in upload->resize->340 folder.
    2. Sub page(width 1000px). That image stored in upload->resize

    Then you can adjust image via cropping.

    Please check and let me know.

    N.B: Please donot upload image in resize folder.

    Previously cropping not working for the size of image (23mb). It is too large for web images.

    Then ill show the site to client and get final feedback after they start uploading the correct content.

    Ans:
    When sizing images you need to first check both hight and width - to find out if the image is too wide or to high.
    -Depending of the finding of both width and hight you first size it down to the right size and then crop the image's hight or width depending on what side is proportionaly larger.

    For web Use this is suggested that if image size is low then page load faster.
    Here we have no alternate ways to do what you want except first you need to crop.

    When you upload a large image it is uploading in 2 size in resize folder 1 is 340px and another is 1000px.
    Now based on Pages , means home or sub pages, home page need to select 340px from resize -> 340 folder and for sub pages take it from resize folder. 

    Now when you are selecting any image you can adjust height.

    2nd for uploading any images 4 mb max size possible in most of the server. 

    There are no alternate system we can do here.

    Sometime the cropping seems to be difficult to "pull on". Its like the widow is stuck. And somestimes it look like some bug. Please see screenshot.

    There is a small line between the first and second row on home again, after we uploaded a new image. See screenshot. Between the 3rd images ythere is no line, but the other 3 images have a small line in between.

    Ans.This is happens because you use a small image and crop for 1000px.This is crop function and not resize function. Please upload now and select from resize folder (1000px) for sub pages. Earlier images will not work because later we programme on this. Please test.
     
    3. There is a small line between the first and second row on home again, after we uploaded a new image. See screenshot. Between the 3rd images ythere is no line, but the other 3 images have a small line in between. 
     
    Ans.This is because the height of  third image is larger than 226px. So please select from resize -> 340 folder and crop in 226px. i mean height adjustment.

    And. I dont understand whu we cannot make this happen outomaticly. I dont wznt to build websites that an unfarmiliar user can "break" or make it "look shitty" becaue they don't understand hwo to crop an image. I think this reflect poorly on us because a website that looks bad, makes us look bad. 
    Pretty much every webiste we will ever make will have a baxkend where a user upload images, to me it would be very wise to create a great uploader and re-use the code every time we build a webpage.

    When I added a section under the FACILITIES - the prompt came up that I was changing from an image to text block. I pressed ok, and then selceted Two Columns, but the fields did not appear for me to write in. See screenshot. It stayed in image-mode.

    The Crop is really acting up. I dont know how to use it. See in this screenshot, this is right after I press the crop button, I have not yet touched the arrows to crop anything, but a huge field looks selcted. See screenshot.

    Another problem that occurs when we dont handle the cropping as to dimansions we want, is that the user can implement his own image-sizes. 
    If you look at the F and B page now, you will see 2 images that are both set to have full screen width, but they have different hight. This makes our webpage look bad - as in not planned well. The best thing would have been to always have the wide image appear the same hight and width, and same thing with the smaller image, when the user select this verision.     Im having a problem with the shading and text on images on home-page. 
     
    How about this, could we make it so that there is one initial image, with the bold heading, and on Roll-over, a secondary image would come up with the the smaller text. That would solve it for me! :)
    Instead of having the shaded text and colors which we have in the system now. 
     
    And I'd love to be able to change colors on header footer if possible. 
    What do you think?

    Ans: Sorry That is not possible into curren framework.

    And I'd love to be able to change colors on header footer if possible. 

    Ans: This is also not into the project scope. 

    We can do that but that required additional coding and approx $150 extra.

    Ans.Yes, you can't change the language in edit mode. If you want to change content in diffrent language, first you have to go in page list then select the language from top of the right side and then you can go to the edit mode of a page in specific language.

    Ans. It was static. Now you can change from system -> other Information.

    1. In the other websites we have made, we have been able to shift blocks of content up and down, to fit more things inbetween. We need this here also, because otherwise the client has to re-uplad every peace of content they already put up there. So best would be to let the user insert content blocks where they wish, nit just at the bottom of each page.

    We really need to always to a good mobile check on ever siute we deliver. I see this as your responsibility before you tell me a project is over.
    SXPO still has lots to fix on mobile. 


    -On the homepage the top text looks really bad. Needs work. 
    -The subtext on the images on home page does not always appear when you touch the images.
    -when you turn the phone the site looks terrible. The menu comes out and it doesnt look good at all.
    -The ENG / SWE should be closer together and moved slightly to the right.
    -The headers and text on sub-pages need to be looked at to fit well, have the right margins and cut text correctly for new rows. I think the headers need to be a little smaller and on the wide-image layout we need to make the text cut cirrectly and have a little slightly more padding to the side of the text.

    Hi. When I said fix the font, I didnt really mean for it to be the same font as Bella. We have "our" own font. What I meant was that the spacing, the thickness, and for it to go in the same theme throughfout the site is something that bella manages to do, but we havent. I tried sending you screenshots for mobile. I think for the next time we should maye copy a site outright at first, and then edit things like fonts and colors, because we need to copy the spacing etc first, to make it look really good. 
    Right now you have made some changes which has again made the text not fit on the home page, see screenshot. 
    Do we need to get on a call to discuss what I mean when I say to copy the style of Bella? Its not about copying their exact font, its about copying the spacing, the style, etc. I tried to explain it in the screenshots i sent on whatsapp.

    With the changes in in font etc here are some updates that we need to correct. See screnshots.

    1. The breadcrumbs are too bold and too large. Please make smaller and thinner. 
    2. The subtext is too bold in general. Please make more of a difference between bold and thin. 
    3. Can we make it so that one of the headings that I can pick is the same as the Heading the main heading for the page, this way we can choose to make the sections headings match the top heading if we wish. 
    4. The text in the footer is too bold and too big. Lets make it slightly smaller then the regular text in the subpages. In general I never want footer text to be same size as the text on the main page. 
    5. Have we made the browser setting the main decider for which text we choose? If browser is in Swedish show Swedish, if not show english. 
    6. For mobile I have sent info toSubhasish K. As a general rule look at mobile for Bella Center and try to match the way tyhey do things as far as spacing, alignment and size.

    When changing between english and Swedish language not all places switch to the right page. 
    For now I found that if you are on:
    CREATIVE SOLUTIONS and press SWE it goes to wrong place, same when you go from that page in Swedish to the ENG. 
    Can you please go through all pages and esnure that all links work back and forth from SWE and ENG and back again.

    Where is this set? On the right side it seems all is just set to default. Wish we had a little more explenation in back-end to what the different settings does.

    Lets center this post or something so that it doesn't look like this. I assume the next post will show up next to it? What will it look like with many posts?

    Ans. Posts shown now full width style. Please check.

    Lets remove the "Read More" button and make the text and the image link to the whole article / page. This way we can have more text in the preview.

    Ans.Read more text removed. Preview text is managable from Short Description field of edit/add post.


    Also, I am trying to edit the menu you made (looks bad right now that it is not correct.) The client will be upset with me for having it up like this.

    Also, i dont see how the NEWS page is linked to the blog-post created called:

    For English NEWS Category exists. So I rename the NYHETER in swedish language and both of these blog category added to navigation menu from Menu Section in backend.

    when adding a post please select the appropriate category (right side) in post page.
